We are a 25 year experienced company that today specializes in processing and exporting the best cardamom from Guatemala. In 1982 our company started trading the cardamom under consolidated container delivered by air; than the prices for cardamom were as high as $35 per kilo; today Del Tropico is a well recognized brand in the bulk spice trade. Through the years we have learned that our customers around the globe each have particular needs in the trade business, but most agree that they value the quality of the product and the service they request from their suppliers. THE FLOWER
The cardamom plant, Elattaria Cardamomum, has one of the most beautiful flowers. The flower is of the orchid family with distinctive white and purple color. The flowering of the plant takes place 4 months before the harvest of the cherries.
